Fur Family Arts Festival: A MEOWvelous and BARKingly Good Time for the Whole Family

Fur-Family-Arts-Festival

I’m excited to announce that I’m going to be part of something very special: the first Fur Family Arts Festival will take place in Fredericksburg, VA on October 16 and 17. This celebration of cats and dogs is the brainchild of Bob Walker, one of the pioneers of the concept of “catification.” Bob and his wife Frances Mooney transformed their San Diego home into The Cat’s House by creating brightly painted ramps, stairs and cat walks throughout the entire house.

The Fur Family Arts Festival will benefit the Fredericksburg Regional SPCA. The shelter is a No-Kill humane organization lovingly dedicated to providing forever homes for homeless animals.

The festival will feature

  • The 2015 Internet Cat Video Festival
  • Cat (and dog) book signings
  • Photo exhibition
  • Training and care information and demos
  • Toys, treats and goodies
  • Photo awards contest
  • a beautiful river front setting
  • and much more!

Participants in the festival include Hauspanther’s Kate Benjamin, pet expert Arden Moore, and many others.

Details are still being finalized. Kate and I will be at the festival both days, and we will both be signing books at 2pm on Saturday.

Woofs and Purrs Photo Awards Contest – $2,200 in Prizes!
