Mews and Nips: Shipwrecked Tortie Finds New Home

Lake-Havasu-tortoiseshell-cat

A nine-year-old tortoiseshell cat used up one of her nine lives when she survived a terrifying experience after she was found alive on a sunken boat on Lake Havasu, Arizona. If you missed any of the stories featured on The Conscious Cat last week, here’s a recap: on Monday, we provided information on the right diet for cats with cancer, on Tuesday, we told you about an innovative microchip pet feeder that solves problems in multicat households and we also featured the Katris Modular Scratching System, and on Wednesday, mystery writer and psychologist Mary Kennedy shared her experience with her therapy cat Lucky. And don’t forget to enter our two giveaways this week: win an assortment of Sticky Paws products from Pioneer Pet, and a Cat About Town tote bag and an autographed copy of Mary Kennedy’s new release, Dream a Little Scream.

When it comes to cats stealing dog beds, I think the kitten in today’s video wins first prize. Apparently, just acting like you belong is the key to success!

Have a great weekend!
