Talk about irony: a police officer with a cat who’s a burglar? Sounds more like a script for a sitcom than real life, doesn’t it? But Oregon police sergeant Dave Kempas happily admits that his kleptokitty Tigger appears to be the ringleader of a well-organized heist that began four years ago. Tigger, sometimes accompanied by one of Kempas’ other cats, has stolen everything from socks to Wendy’s French fry boxes, candy wrappers and rubber gloves. One time, he even brought back a small bag of weed. Rather than arresting Tigger for his crimes, Kempas was so amused by his cat’s antics that he started a Facebook page for him.
