Mews and Nips: Abandoned Kittens Go on Epic Adventures

abandoned-kittens-epic-adventures

When outdoor enthusiasts Danielle and Kayleen discovered two abandoned kittens in a bush behind the trash can of a neighborhood park, they were going to bring them to the local rescue, but it wasn’t open at the time. The following day they went on a two day canoeing, hiking, and camping trip. They didn’t know what to do with the kittens, so they took them along. Keel and Bolt, as the kittens are now named, quickly won over the humans, and the two adorable brothers have since been going on many adventures. Visit their website for amazing photos and stories about the two brothers, and for tips on how you can turn your kitty into an adventure cat.

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Sunday, we told you about an inspirational movie titled The Secret of the Keys, on Monday, we told you about the Kittybiome project, on Tuesday, we shared some adorable cat jewelry with you, on Wednesday, we told you how to prevent and correct play aggression, and on Friday, we reviewed The Extraordinary Life of Buffy the Cat. And don’t forget to enter our giveaway for an autographed copy of Tortitude: The BIG Book of Cats With a BIG Attitude!

There’s just something beyond adorable about a kitten standing up on his hind feet – enjoy!

Have a great weekend!
