Stella McCartney’s Fall Collection Goes Wild for Cats

British fashion designer Stella McCartney, the daughter of former Beatle Paul MCartney and American musician, photographer and animal activist Linda McCartney, has launched a new fall line that has gone to the cats!

The line features cat-portrait tapestry fabrics on skirts, dresses, a tailored coat, a ’70s-style football-jumper, a blouse and a silk dress. There are also plenty of animal patterned accessories and even a cat carrier. The designer is clearly having fun with these designs, and even uses the hashtag #StellaMcCatney on her social media channels.

Following her parents’ example (Paul McCartney became a vegetarian in 1975, when he began his animal advocacy with his first wife Linda,) Stella McCartney is the world’s first and only vegetarian luxury brand. The company thinks that no animal should give its life for the sake of fashion. They don’t use and have never used leather, skins, feathers or fur in any of their products

So, how about a cat tapestry coat? And you have to admit, the jumpsuit will make you stand out anywhere you go!

I adore the look on the left, and I would also wear that dress in a heartbeat.
