How many times have you gotten a cat bed for your cats, only to have them use it maybe once or twice and then abandon it? This has not been the case for us with the Comfy Clamshell from the Jackson Galaxy Collection by Petmate. Ever since we received one of these convertible beds from our friends at Spirit Essences in July of this year, Ruby has been using it every single day.
This versatile bed can go from cozy hideaway to lounging pad. It features a soft plush inside, and a durable polyester outside. It’s super easy to convert this bed. To turn it into a cat bed, simply tighten the rope that goes around the outer perimeter, and then tuck the extra rope away into a cleverly designed pocket to keep it out of the way. To turn it back into a soft lounge pad, just undo the fastener and loosen the rope until the bed lays flat.
Ruby didn’t like it as a bed, but she sure loves the giant lounging pad. And yes, it takes up on awful lot of space in my relatively small living room, but since Ruby loves it so much and naps on it every single day, how could I not leave it out for her? Thankfully, it’s purple, which is one of my favorite colors.
