Join Me at Cat Camp NYC

Cat-Camp-NYC

A weekend that’s all about cats, featuring some of my favorite people in the cat world, and it’s in New York City, my favorite city in the world? Yes, please!

Cat Camp NYC, the city’s first feline-focused conference and adoption extravaganza, is taking place the weekend of March 11-12 2017. The event will bring cat lovers together to celebrate all things cats and to discuss some of the most important and challenging problems facing cats today. There will be cat-themed vendors from around the country.

The event will also feature several adoption events, including one focusing on senior and special needs cats mounted by KittyKind and supported by the Petco Foundation.

I am absolutely honored to be one of the speakers in an incredible line up of personalities: Jackson Galaxy (My Cat from Hell and the Jackson Galaxy Foundation); Lil BUB (with a presentation by BUB and Mike Bridavsky); Hannah Shaw (Kitten Lady); NYC Feral Cat Initiative; Kate Benjamin (Hauspanther); Dr. Jennifer Conrad (The Paw Project), Adam Myatt (aka The Cat Man of West Oakland). I will be holding a Q&A session on Saturday from 1 to 2pm.  For a complete schedule, please visit http://www.catcampnyc.com/schedule/

The event is organized by Christina Ha, the co-founder and head pastry chef at the popular patisserie, Macaron Parlour. A graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education Pastry & Baking Program and the Culinary Management Program, Christina combined her passion for baking and her adoration for cats as a co-founder of New York’s first cat cafe, Meow Parlour. Christina is currently serving as the acting President of KittyKind. She is excited to bring together her many passions with the creation of the East Coast’s first large scale feline symposium – Cat Camp!
