Mews and Nips: Cat Takes Ride on German Commuter Train

cat-on-train

Earlier this week, a commuter train in Stuttgart, Germany had an unusual passenger: an orange tabby got comfortable on the train and rode back and forth while getting in a good nap until he was taken to the Stuttgart city shelter. Thankfully, the cat had a microchip and was picked up by his family the same day. Now the adventurous kitty even has his own Facebook page. I came across this story in my hometown newspaper, and I’ll keep following it and will update you on any new developments!

If you missed any of the stories featured on the Conscious Cat this week, here’s a recap: on Sunday, we talked about practicing kindness, on Monday we introduced you to the Cat Community website, on Tuesday, I announced that I will be speaking at Cat Camp NYC, on Wednesday, we shared the story of how a compassionate Canadian vet rescued a Cuban cat, and on Friday, we told you how Cruelty-Free Kitty helps you choose beauty products that are not tested on animals. And don’t forget to enter our giveaway for a cat beret from Triple T Studios!

Earlier this month, I got to visit Hannah Shaw, the Kitten Lady. While looking around her YouTube channel, I came across this adorable video – enjoy!
